Professional Context
SpinOps is an internal manufacturing operations system that I developed as part of my professional responsibilities while working at PT Asietex Sinar Indopratama. This was not a personal or freelance project; it was created to support real operational processes within the company’s spinning department.
The Challenge
Daily spinning production involves multiple machines, production blocks, shifts, teams, yarn counts, lots, machine stoppages, and production parameters. Managing this information manually makes it difficult to maintain consistent calculations, trace machine conditions, monitor production performance, and prepare structured reports for management.
The Solution
SpinOps centralizes the entire reporting workflow into a responsive web application. Production operators can record operational data for every machine, including lot, speed, yarn count, meter counter, spindle count, notes, and standardized machine-stoppage codes.
The system validates incomplete operational records, supports machines that only contain notes or stoppage information, calculates production summaries, prevents duplicate reports for the same block and shift, and stores report data through controlled database transactions.
Key Capabilities
• Multi-step per-machine production reporting
• Automatic production, efficiency, and production-loss calculations
• Standardized machine-stoppage master data
• Production history with detailed machine-level information
• Daily and date-range Excel exports
• Stoppage-code legends included in exported reports
• Production dashboards with overall and block-level charts
• Filters by date, shift, team, and production period
• Personnel placement history across production blocks
• Time-based personnel contribution estimation
• Relative personnel grades and production rankings
• Automatic and manual team-shift rotation
• Role-based access for users, viewers, administrators, and super administrators
• Responsive desktop and mobile interface
My Contribution
My contribution included translating operational requirements into application workflows, designing the database relationships, implementing production business rules, building the Laravel and Livewire interface, creating dashboard visualizations, developing Excel exports, implementing access control, and continuously refining the user experience based on actual operational needs.
